The Nonprofit Herald is always looking for writers to help us tell a good nonprofit story! You don’t have to be a “journalist” to submit articles or story pitches, just be someone who lives in the DC area with great writing skills and an interest in the local nonprofit community. Bloggers and freelance writers are welcome! At this time, we cannot provide monetary compensation, but we are happy to provide an outlet for you to publish and showcase your work. We hope you will help us spread the word about using digital media to tell the stories of our nonprofit community!
How to Apply
The Nonprofit Herald accepts already-completed articles as well as well-developed story pitches. We are also happy to cross-post any relevant blog articles you’ve written recently (in the last 14 days).
Email your contact information along with your article or your story pitch and a short writing sample (1-5 pages) to editor (at) nonprofitherald.com.
